Have you tried looking through the pre-made templates for examples? Within Inspiration you could draw your own lines or use the shapes available to create a matrix. The tool bar at the bottom of the page is most helpful! Text can always be added within the document as well. Try starting out in the diagram view and go from there. The "learn to use" button will assist you in learning the program further if you are unfamiliar with it.
